Download BarePOS

This small installer checks your licence key with OpDesk, then downloads and installs the latest BarePOS for you.

Download the installer

BarePOS-Web-Setup.exe, for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Version 0.2.0.

Installing

  1. Run the installer

    Open BarePOS-Web-Setup.exe from your Downloads folder and allow it to make changes.

  2. Enter your licence key

    Type the key from your purchase email (it looks like POS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and, if you like, a name for this till.

  3. Let it install

    Setup downloads BarePOS, checks the file hasn’t been tampered with, and installs it. Then open BarePOS from your desktop. It activates itself.

If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

The BarePOS installer isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you about an unrecognised app. Click More info, check the publisher, then click Run anyway.

What happens to your key

The installer sends your key to OpDesk to check it, then downloads BarePOS. Your key is used for nothing else, and the download link it gets expires within minutes.
